Helping Residents Adjust
At Ty-Nant Care Home, we understand the stress involved in leaving home and starting afresh in a new location. That is why we are pleased to accept new residents for an agreed trial period, during which they can see if they are comfortable and happy in our home. To help make the adjustment that bit easier, we do not have specific visiting times, which means family and friends are able to visit whenever they like.

The utmost privacy is afforded to residents when they have visitors or are in consultation with other professionals involved in managing their care, such as a GP, care manager, advocate, or financial advisor.

To ensure the comfort of our residents, we have both male and female staff, and each resident can choose who provides their personal care. All of our staff are trained to make every effort to respect the resident’s wishes and will always be courteous and knock before entering.

All of the rooms at Ty-Nant Care Home are single occupancy and have en-suite bathrooms to accommodate your personal needs in a private setting. Additionally, each floor has a number of specialised bathrooms with high and low baths.
