The Exceptional Facilities at Ty-Nant Care Home
Throughout the three floors of our nursing home, there are a number of communal and quiet lounges which provide residents with a choice of environment in which to relax and enjoy the company of relatives and friends. We always encourage friends and family to visit our residents and get involved. We have an organised activity programme for residents which their friends and family are welcome to participate in, while we also organise regular trips which can be attended by residents’ loved ones. Additionally, we have professional entertainers visiting our home on a regular basis.
Creating a Homely Environment
Each of our residents is given their own comfy, well-maintained bedroom which they and their families are encouraged to personalise. We find that this helps our residents to become more comfortable in their new surroundings. To add to the homely feel, we have an extensive garden which offers stunning views of the beautiful scenery of the Afan Valley.
Dining Facilities
Each floor of our nursing home is fitted with dining facilities where we offer a nutritionally balanced menu filled with dishes of real flavour. To maintain the high standard of our food, all meals are freshly prepared and cooked in the kitchen. Residents and their families are consulted on their likes and dislikes when they arrive, while all dietary requirements are catered for. The dining areas are filled with tables laid with fresh linen, and menu boards are displayed throughout the room. Alongside freshly cooked meals, snacks and refreshments are available 24 hours a day.
